Sephora Boscia Charcoal Pore Pudding Face Mask
I love facial masks. They great at helping your skin get rid of pore clogging offenders like black heads, dirt, debris and excessive oil. It is also a great way to take that much needed time for yourself and relax even if its just for 15mins. There are many facial masks that are my favorite but my current favorite is the Bosica Charcoal Pore Pudding Intensive Wash Off Treatment. Pore What?? Pudding you read that right. Its like pudding for your face! Don't worry it's good stuff I promise. The Boscia Charcoal Pore Pudding is just so interesting to look at, I really didn't use it for long time because I didn't want to disturb the cool looking swirl in the jar. It looks so delicious. This face mask is a mixture of black and white charcoal and kaolin clay. These ingredients provide a good deep penetrating cleaning for the face while balancing and hydrating the skin at the same time. Here are the benefits. Benefits Black Charcoal - absorbs toxins and impurities from the skin by purifying and detoxifying the skin. It deep cleans the pores without irritation and has natural anti-bacterial properties. White Charcoal - moisturizes and balances skin for increased hydration.Kaolin Clay - removes excess oil from the skin without over stripping and drying it out. Kaolin also boost the efficiency of both the black and white charcoal.
The Boscia Charcoal Pore Pudding is 2.8 fl oz of product in a glass jar sold at Sephora and comes with a small spatula for you to scoop out the product and apply. My humble suggestion to the company would be to make this product pump-able since its so smooth and creamy. This would make it easier to use with less mess and waste and even more hygienic so no poking fingers into the jar. Just thinking out loud;) The formulation of the product is rich and butter smooth. It feels great in between your fingers helping it glide on effortlessly onto the skin. It is thick enough that once its applied it does not run all over your face leaving a dripping mess all over you and the bathroom counter. I do like the light fresh smell of the product, it contains grapefruit and flower stem extracts that give it a pleasant smell. This adds to your relaxing experience. What you do: Use the spatula provided to scoop out product and apply to finger tips. Apply product to face and swirl it around to distribute it. The product will turn into a gray paste on skin. Leave on for 15-20mins. Rinse face and pat dry. Moisturize. Done! Be sure to wash and dry spatula after each use. The Boscia Charcoal Pore Pudding rinses off very easily without a clay residue being left behind on the skin. After using this product my face didn't feel tight or dry at all and it left my skin looking a bit brighter and my pores did appear to be smaller. Verdict: I highly recommend the Boscia Charcoal Pore Pudding Intensive Wash Off Treatment face mask. It does what it says it is going to do. It leaves your face feeling hydrated and moisturized and clean. It doesn't irritate the skin. It provides good oil control for those with combo and oily skin. Some people have used it for spot treatments and say that it helps for that too. It comes in a bit pricey at $50CDN but for the price there is a good amount of product in the jar so it is totally worth it. Over to you.
